The Alderox® formulation was invented in 2004 at the request of Utah’s Department of Transportation and patented shortly thereafter. For 2 years, Alderox® was used primarily in asphalt trucks hauling very sticky, rubber modified asphalt mix designs, on concrete forms and architectural molds and in a variety of other areas to eliminate the sticking of materials on equipment. In late 2006, Alderox entered the mining industry and completed a successful 90 day trial with a major western US operation in mid-2007. Since then, Alderox has been tested and used in mining operations worldwide, including Canada, USA, Mexico, Chile and Australia.

Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc. (www.applied.com), with over 440 locations in North America, is Alderox’s north American distributor for concrete and asphalt. Click here for a list of our distributors that service and supply the mining operations.
